The Audit Compliance Accountant is responsible for ensuring that the company's financial statements are accurate and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience in auditing financial statements.
Responsibilities of the Audit Compliance Accountant include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations
- Performing audits of financial statements and internal controls
- Identifying and resolving accounting and reporting issues
- Auditing of inventory accounting records
- Communicating with management and external auditors regarding financial reporting matters
Qualifications for the Audit Compliance Accountant include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 5 years of experience in auditing financial statements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
