Tax Manager- Hybrid Schedule (Must live in San Antonio, TX)
The Tax Manager is responsible for managing the tax department and ensuring that all taxes are filed and paid on time and in full. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as experience managing a team of tax professionals.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the tax department and ensure that all taxes are filed and paid on time and in full.
- Interpret tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to employees on tax-related matters.
- Prepare and file tax returns for the company and its employees.
- Manage the tax budget and ensure that tax costs are kept within budget.
- Work with outside tax consultants and attorneys to ensure that the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor tax trends and changes and recommend strategies to the company to minimize its tax liability.
- Develop and implement tax policies and procedures for the company.
- Train and supervise tax department employees.
