MGT is seeking an Transformation Specialist for the MGT School Turnaround team in East Cleveland, Ohio. The candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of school systems and in particular building level management of all aspects of education. This person will lead and coach school the principal and leadership team for identified client (school) in a multi-year project. They will also have extensive understanding of public school systems and in particular, building level management of all aspects of education.

MGT is seeking an Transformation Specialist for the MGT School Turnaround team in East Cleveland, Ohio. The candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of school systems and in particular building level management of all aspects of education. This person will lead and coach school the principal and leadership team for identified client (school) in a multi-year project. They will also have extensive understanding of public school systems and in particular, building level management of all aspects of education.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will:
- Lead and coach school principal and leadership team for identified schools to significantly increase student achievement outcomes
- Lead the onsite MGT team at assigned schools including scheduling, reporting and coaching
- Model leadership and pedagogy best practices to school and MGT team
- Create the coordination of Coordinated Support Plans
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting involving tracking and analyzing data
- Lead development and execution of school achievement plan
- Provide leadership to school-based teams and MGT school teams on monthly data monitoring
- Develop client relationships
- Ensure all aspects of contract are delivered at the school level
- Interface with district personnel as necessary
- Contribute to the continuing development of products and processes to support the work
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Education Leadership, Curriculum or Supervision or related field within education
- Five (5) or more years of Administrator/district level experience in School Transformation and Turnaround
- Extensive understanding of Ohio DOE system
- Ability to disaggregate and use data to inform decisions and for reporting purposes
- Ability to lead diverse teams and facilitate consensus and support among teams
- Deep understanding of Ohio instructional standards and instructional practices
- Deep understanding of School Transformation effective practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to client and/or school-sites within East Cleveland, Ohio
