We are seeking an experienced Title Insurance Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Texas real estate laws, title examination procedures, and underwriting guidelines. This role involves examining title searches and property records to determine insurability and identify potential title defects.

• Review and analyze property records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and other encumbrances.
• Examine title searches and prepare title commitments based on findings.
• Identify title defects, assess potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with underwriters, escrow officers, and other team members to resolve title issues.
• Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and company underwriting policies.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionally to clients and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date title records and reports.

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Title Examiner or Title Officer in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of Texas real estate laws, title insurance policies, and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficiency in title examination software (SoftPro) and county recording systems (Title Data).
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and chain of title.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
