Job Summary
We are seeking an Early Childhood professional to join our team. This individual will engage in developmentally appropriate activities with young children and create an emotionally safe and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support lesson plans that align with the Creative Curriculum and vision of the center
- Support schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest, choice time and enriched play
- Encourage student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere
- Participate in staff meeting and on-going trainings
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage young children
- Familiarity with assessment procedures is a plus
- CPR and 1st Aid and/or Bilingual a plus
