Who We’re Looking For:
The Vendor Analyst is part of the Operations team, responsible for interacting with Business Partners/Vendors, MHA Sales Teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure that MHA Members have access to contract pricing based on defined member eligibility criteria. The Vendor Analyst is the subject matter expert for assigned Business Partner/Vendor eligibility processes and policies. The position requires the ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to multi-task multiple tickets and issues. The Vendor Analyst works under the direction of the Manager, Membership. The Vendor analyst works directly with all internal MHA departments as well as with external Business Partners.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing and Maintaining Member Eligibility:
- Processing and maintaining member eligibility in MHA’s internal application.
- Communicating member eligibility and issues to internal stakeholders (Sales Teams, Data, Reconciliation, and Trade Teams).
- Working with internal and external Business Partners (Vendors/Wholesalers) to resolve member eligibility discrepancies.
- Proactively reviewing and resolving member linkage issues working with both internal and external teams.
- Maintaining Vendor Process Documents:
- Maintaining Vendor Process documents and updating Business Partner processes in corporate application.
- Adhering to New Vendor Onboarding protocols and maintaining Vendor communication standards.
- Supporting Projects and Tasks:
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
- Assisting with notification and issue resolution for internal applications.
- Reviewing and resolving vendor linkage discrepancies from sales and admin fee data.
- Identifying and implementing procedures as needed to support external and internal business partners.
What You’ll Bring To The Table:
- Educational Background:
- BA/BS preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail:
- High attention to detail and follow-up skills with a high degree of accuracy and timely manner.
- Ability to efficiently enter data and information into computer applications and validate your own work for completeness and accuracy.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills to comprehensively analyze and interpret data in order to apply procedures for processing data and resolving issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills:
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and function independently.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor in performing job responsibilities and when interacting with others.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications skills including Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup), Word, and Outlook.
- Attendance and Punctuality:
- Attendance and punctuality with a commitment to arrive to work on time and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
