The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 2 years’ experience in healthcare recruiting
- Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and automated applicant tracking systems
- Current Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MHC)
- Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC)
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other nationally recognized professional HR certification

- Works with hiring managers to determine needs of open positions, collaborates with HR team to ensure proper classification and appropriate pay ranges, and develops accurate job postings.
- Facilitates interviews and provides guidance to hiring managers regarding best practices and behavioral interview techniques.
- Screens resumes and applications, contacts candidates to determine appropriate fit for position, schedules interviews, refers top candidates to hiring managers, and extends offers to selected candidates.
- Collaborates with HR team to ensure timely and efficient transition from the recruiting process to employee onboarding.
- Generates and develops recruiting leads through job boards, active and passive internet sourcing, advertisements, referrals, email blasts, job fairs, and other viable sources.
- Researches emerging recruitment trends and develops new techniques to attract top talent and promote the organization.
- Researches and participates in career fairs, collaborates with local organizations and associations through committees or other networking activities, and partners with educational institutions to establish talent sourcing pipelines.
- Understands and maintains knowledge of state and federal regulations such as those under Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), and recruits in accordance with the principles of equal employment opportunity.
- Collaborates with HR team to seek opportunities and implement strategies to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce through intentional recruiting techniques.
- Cultivates relationships with managers to build trust and credibility, acts as a subject matter expert on recruiting, and provides counsel to managers and other leaders.
- Collaborates with HR Generalist – Senior and HR leadership to ensure competitive, equitable compensation ranges for open positions and provides feedback from candidates regarding offers, pay, and compensation package.
- Collaborates with HR leadership to ensure effective, efficient onboarding of staff and satisfactory employee retention.
- Collaborates with training department to support staff and organizational development initiatives.
- Participates in meetings, committees, and projects as assigned.
- Prepares monthly reports related to recruiting productivity and works with Director of HR to develop goals and measure outcomes for continuous improvement of recruitment activities.
- Leverages Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to manage requisitions.
- Performs administrative duties related to recruitment and HR processes.
- Maintains knowledge of evolving employment related legal and compliance regulations and assists with the development and revision of policies and practices to ensure proactive, ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Enriches professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
