MHE Engineering, DPC. is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm located in Southern New York and north Eastern Pennsylvania. The primary areas of practice include civil engineering (including water and wastewater), structural engineering, architecture, municipal consulting, construction observation and administration, as well as building support services. The firm was founded in 1978 and operates two offices in New Windsor, NY, and Milford, PA.
MHE has an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our client's post application projects along with various capital projects throughout Orange and Sullivan counties.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and conduct pre-construction meetings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project completion.
- Communicate project updates to client.
- Conduct regular meetings to review project progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Assist with Payment Applications, Field Orders and Change Orders and other required reporting.
- Regular field visits to project site.
Skills:
- 5 years of relevant Construction Project Management experience required.
- Must have previously worked in an Engineering/Architectural Firm setting.
- Experience with public sector projects preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in technical writing for project documentation.
- Knowledge of project engineering principles.
