What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Architect position at MHE Engineering, D.P.C.?
*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY* This is not a remote position, must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute to New Windsor, NY.
MHE Engineering is searching for an experienced Senior Architect to join and eventually lead our Architecture department. MHE provides both original complete building design and support services for public and private projects. We are searching for an individual who is licensed to practice Architecture in the states of New York and Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities will include mentoring other Architects / Designers, reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans, working with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met, and consulting with various industry professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design, or similar
- Licensed in New York and Pennsylvania
- 10 years of work experience as an Architect
- Public sector design experience preferred
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and dedicated to excellence
- In-depth understanding of CAD and AutoCAD software
