What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Representative position at MHI RJ Aviation Inc?
As a Quality Assurance Representative, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.
- Maintains, revises and processes in Company Manuals for regulatory approval.
- Assist all departments to formulate in house procedures.
- Assist the Manager of Quality Systems in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Performs internal audits and vendor audits.
- Reviews calibration equipment documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Performs and prepares reports on incident and regulatory compliance investigations.
- The focal point for all Quality Assurance issues.
- Approves all new processes prior to implementation.
- Ensure that deficiencies in systems, procedures, and practices are identified and corrected before they adversely affect operations.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and inspections on products or services to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Develop and implements quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve overall quality performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings and quality data analysis.
Here’s what is required to succeed as a Quality Assurance Representative.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
- High school education required.
- Must have effective communications skills.
- Capable of preparing and writing quality reports.
- Possess good analytical skills.
- Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in a Quality Assurance position (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in quality management software and documentation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations under Title 14, CFR Part145.
