Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Bench Sales Recruiter to join our dynamic recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the staffing industry, particularly in placing candidates on the bench, and will be responsible for sourcing and placing consultants on various client projects. The role requires effective communication, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of client requirements and consultant profiles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in bench sales activities to source and place bench resources on new projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs.
- Work closely with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure timely placements of consultants.
- Screen and shortlist bench candidates to match the client's technical and project requirements.
- Negotiate salaries, terms, and conditions for bench candidates, ensuring competitive and attractive offers.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of bench resources and keep track of their availability.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging skills in the IT industry.
- Identify new opportunities with existing clients and support business development efforts.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new consultants and ensure a smooth transition.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of bench sales and consultant availability.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bench Sales Recruiter or in a similar sales/recruitment role, preferably in the IT staffing industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT skills, technologies, and client requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with consultants and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of industry-standard job boards and networking platforms.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with H1B visa regulations and processes.
- Previous experience working with offshore and onsite teams.
- Experience in working with US-based clients is preferred.
