The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver comprehensive care and support to enhance the well-being of service recipients. This involves providing respite which will include assistance with ADLs and supervision of health and safety. Acting as a role model and mentor, the position includes coaching service recipients using approved techniques and strategies and implementing physical intervention when necessary to ensure the safety of individuals. Additionally, meticulous completion of documentation and reporting for grant programs is essential to contribute to the team's operational effectiveness. This position is on-call and includes weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts.
Preferences: High School Diploma/GED
Preferences: Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human services field
Experience: Two (2) years Working with individuals with IDD or Behavior Health needs
License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License
