Accountant

A growing accounting office for a large franchise restaurant operation has an opportunity for a strong accountant to fill the position of regional accounting manager. The accounting manager is responsible for accounting operations of assigned regional groups of Sonic Drive In restaurants.

This is an exciting opportunity for a smart, proactive, experienced, detailed-oriented financial professional!

Responsibilities:
. Maintain/oversee all accounting functions - GL accounting and analysis, AP and payroll

. Process weekly AP check run

. Perform monthly close functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

. Complete bank account(s) reconciliations, including safe and credit cards

. Input and review journal entries.

. Calculating and posting monthly/annual accruals

. File multi state sales/use tax and payroll tax returns

. Year end reconciliation, including providing CPA with necessary information to complete tax return

. Managing relationships and effectively communicating with all levels of management and restaurants

Job Requirements:
. Bachelor’s degree in accounting
. 4 years accounting experience
. High proficiency in Excel.
. Strong computer skills.
. Demonstrate success in written and verbal communication, attention to details, leadership and organizational skills.
. Ability to meet deadlines and multi task in a fast paced environment
