Job Description:
The Home Health Scheduling Coordinator Assistant is responsible for managing and coordinating the schedules of home health caregivers with clients. This role ensures proper care delivery by matching client needs with caregiver availability, while maintaining open communication with both parties and adhering to agency policies and regulations. As the central point of contact for scheduling and client care coordination, the Scheduling Coordinator Assistant plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our home health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Client Visits: Assign caregivers to clients based on their specific care needs, availability, and client preferences.
- Caregiver Management: Assist in maintaining a pool of qualified caregivers, track their availability, and ensure proper scheduling based on skill sets.
- Client Communication: Answer client inquiries, address concerns, and coordinate any schedule changes.
- Care Plan Review: Understand client care plans to ensure caregivers are properly informed about required services.
- Staffing Optimization: Assist in managing staff levels to meet fluctuating client needs and ensure efficient utilization of caregivers.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and caregiver records, including scheduling details and any relevant updates.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate with the care team to address urgent client situations.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure all scheduling practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications
Required:

- Proficiency with scheduling software to efficiently manage client and caregiver data.
- Knowledge of home health care procedures and regulations.

- Attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and documentation.
- Available Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and 1 On-Call Weekend/month
Preferred:
- 1 year Home health experience
Salary : $19 - $20
