POSITION OVERVIEW
We're looking for a patient, passionate, and experienced Teacher for our specialized Potty Training classroom (18-23 months). If you love celebrating "small victories" and guiding children through this important milestone, we want you on our team!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Early Childhood Education degree or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can provide training)
- A patient, positive attitude and creative approach to teaching independence
- Minimum of Highschool Diploma
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a positive, accident-friendly potty training environment
- Develop engaging, child-led learning experiences that build bathroom confidence
- Maintain impeccably clean facilities and follow strict hygiene protocols
- Implement consistent daily routines that incorporate regular potty breaks
- Celebrate successes and gently guide through challenges
- Communicate with families about their child's potty progress
- Support assistant teachers in potty training best practices
- Participate in professional development to stay current on potty training approaches
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable kneeling, sitting on small chairs, and frequent trips to child-sized facilities
- Ability to maintain composure during messy moments
COMPENSATION
- Competitive salary ($15.00-$22.00/hour) based on experience and credentials
