Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge, including specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Excellent upselling techniques that contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Proficient cash handling skills with attention to detail when processing transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food service is essential for maintaining health standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Shift:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Charles Town, WV 25414: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
