Pay: $17.91 / hour $1.00 shift differential

Shift: 11pm- 7am

Position Summary: The Production Helper supports the efficient operation of the production floor by assisting in various production areas, including Paint, Packing, Extrusion, and Pre-Cut. Under the supervision of an Operator or Lead, this role is responsible for performing tasks as assigned to ensure smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in production tasks as directed by the Operator or Lead in assigned areas (Paint, Packing, Extrusion, Pre-Cut).
• Handle materials, supplies, and products to facilitate smooth operations across production areas.
• Perform basic machine operations, loading/unloading materials, and routine inspections under supervision.
• Ensure product quality by following established procedures and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in cross-training to support multiple production areas and enhance skills.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to different workstations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as needed.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust in a manufacturing environment.
• Must wear appropriate PPE at all times (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, ear protection).
