Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: The Trinity Nurse Assistant Program (TNAP) is a clinical training program that provides opportunity for non-clinical entry level colleagues to transition into clinical nursing support roles. The TNAP Curriculum is offered over a 2-week period, followed by a department-based orientation. The program is 5-6 days in length, and creates safe, caring, and competent nurse assistants while paving the way for further professional development and career progression. The TNAP education is provided in a hybrid format, with colleagues connecting for virtual education – taught by a nursing professional development practitioner at the system office level – as well as hands-on learning taught locally all within the same day. TNAP completion does not make a colleague eligible for State certification or re-certification currently. What Patient Care Assistant, PCA will need: Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months of experience direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
