Preferred: RMA, AAMA, AMT, or CMA registration or certification Medical Terminology Current American Heart Association BCLS / CPR Certification Completion of High School Diploma or GED What Medical Assistants, MAs will do: Room set up and patient preparation Taking vitals Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
