We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure that all kitchen surfaces, including floors and counters, are kept clean and free of debris.
• Assist in the proper storage of clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area to promote efficiency.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables or assembling ingredients.
• Support the kitchen staff during peak hours by providing assistance with additional cleaning or food service tasks.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
• A background in food service or hospitality will be considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
