What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship position at MI Technical Solutions?
MI Technical Solutions offers Internships through a partnership with Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
The Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP) is an online system where companies select and hire interns from a large pool of pre-qualified college and university STEM students throughout Virginia. Student applications contain contact information, a writing sample, a resume, transcripts and two references. CSIIP provides a search tool companies can use to find the right candidates. Employers can search CSIIP’s database by STEM major, skills or distance from their company. Summer internships are usually 10 to 12 weeks long, 20 to 40 hours per week at a minimum of $15 per hour. Spring and fall internships may vary in duration and are typically more flexible with schedules. For any questions regarding CSIIP, please contact the Virginia Space Grant Consortium at https://csiip.spacegrant.org.
Our college internship opportunity is geared toward student learning through exploration, professional development, and industry networking. The goal is to further equip and prepare students to work in tech roles as well as build an understanding of how to leverage transferrable skills in various roles. What you can expect in our program is an opportunity to complete a personal project that can be used to fulfill academic requirements, gain industry insight from career professionals, and gain new skills by assisting in the development of other MITS programs. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the company and apply using our provided web portal.
