Position Description: MI Technical Solutions is seeking a Statistician to join its team. In this role, the Statistician is responsible for the design, development, and application of mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze complex data sets to inform decision makers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Identify data sources and integrate collection processes to gather meaningful data
• Develop and apply statistical analysis methods and techniques to glean actionable information
• Evaluate the statistical analysis methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, and accuracy of collected data
• Report the results of the statistical analysis using data visualization tools
• Develop and maintaining databases for data storage and retrieval
• Provide statistical support to decision makers and stakeholders
Requirements:
• DoD Secret Clearance
• MS degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Years of Experience: 4 or more years of experience in Statistics, Data Science, or related fields
• Experience with various Regression models, Analysis of Variance, Predictive Models, and Determining Correlation
• Ability to work in fast paced collaborative team-based environments with both local and remote colleagues
• Effective writing, speaking, and analytical skills
