Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Job Description: Physical Therapist $15,000 Sign-On Bonus Summary: Provide professional physical therapy services to clients as prescribed by the physician, in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. Supervision: Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) Home Health Aides (if allowed by State Practice Acts) Essential Functions: Collaborate with Team Leader to prioritize and plan visits based on client needs and physician orders. Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and agency policies. Accurately assess clients and develop treatment plans with attainable goals. Make referrals and coordinate care with other disciplines. Report changes in client condition to the physician and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Implement preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative procedures. Perform manual therapeutic exercises and adjust physical agent modalities. Instruct clients in non-manual exercises and functional activities. Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices. Advise and instruct clients, family, or agency personnel in therapy programs.
