Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Scheduler- Part-Time .5 FTE or 20 hrs a week As a Scheduler, you’ll coordinate home health services, ensuring clinician continuity and matching clients with the right level of care. You’ll utilize judgment in scheduling and rescheduling patients, maintaining clear communication with clients, clinicians, and homecare teams. This role may provide cross-coverage for multiple sites or additional home care support. Key Responsibilities: Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Schedule services following established policies, ensuring clinician consistency. Coordinate schedules to meet client needs while prioritizing caregiver continuity. Strive to limit the number of clinicians per client, scheduling no more than three per episode. Manage daily schedules for all disciplines and handle initial welcome calls. Collaborate with clinical managers to provide coverage for absences and optimize productivity. Maintain accurate records and workflow, prioritizing tasks based on urgency. Provide cross-coverage during weekends and holidays. Support national scheduling initiatives and complete other duties as assigned. Understanding of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to type 50 words per minute and work with standard office equipment. Strong communication skills and commitment to ethical standards.
