Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: We are seeking a Temporary Life Enrichment Assistant to join our independent senior community. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will wear multiple hats and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning into another role within our community. Plan and organize a variety of activities and programs to enrich the lives of our senior residents. Coordinate and facilitate social gatherings, exercise classes, educational workshops, arts and crafts sessions, and outings. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident needs and preferences, assisting with transportation and answering questions. Assist with administrative tasks, including maintain activity calendars, managing resident databases, and coordinating schedules. Assist with facility tours Assist in the dining room as needed. Familiar and comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office products Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents. Adhere to safety and wellness guidelines, considering any physical limitations or health concerns. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role or working with seniors is preferred Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and be able to flexible as responsibilities for the day can vary depending on the needs of the community. Flexibility to work on a temporary basis Please note that is a temporary position with a duration of about 3 months. The working hours and schedule may vary based on the needs of the community.
