2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing
Monday - Friday 2pm - 11 : 00pm
27.00 -32.00 or more - Plus $1.50 for SD - Based on Experience
The Industrial Maintenance Technician performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance repair work on various types of manufacturing equipment primarily related to production to ensure that production goals and customer expectations are met. This position services all areas of the organization by ensuring safe operations in an efficient manner. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The scope of decision-making is broad within established parameters, conferring with skilled trades on more complex matters.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs semi-skilled and skilled mechanical and electrical repair / installation (e.g., fixtures, valves, tooling, relays, and plc adjustments) & assists in skilled electrical & mechanical repair & / or installation
- Performs semi-skilled & skilled repair or replacement on doors, walls, facilities structures, and assists skilled trades persons with more complex or large-scale projects
- Performs moderate steel fabrication and wood carpentry
- Performs minor janitorial work as needed, e.g., over-filled toilet cleanup, change trash bags, snow removal, etc.
- Gives work instruction to Maintenance Helpers. May provide input regarding job performance to Maintenance and Maintenance Supervisor
- Performs preventative maintenance duties and TPM activities
- Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities. May take on special projects because of Kaizen events.
- Stocking or inventory of parts as well as communicates with vendors
