Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the individual needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
- Forster a child centered atmosphere that promotes creativity, collaboration and respect for each child's unique journey
- Observe and asses each child's development, providing support tailored to their individual needs
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is required at least 1 year of experience in working in a certified center
- Bilingual English- Spanish but not required
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential.
- CPR.
- Skills in behavior management and classroom management are highly valued.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices is beneficial.
- Previous babysitting experience can be an asset for understanding child care dynamics.
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
