What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist position at MIA Safety Services?
The Transportation On-boarding / Recruiting Specialist position supports the Recruiting and On-boarding goals by providing administrative recruiting, paperwork processing, analytical assistance with our new Truck Driver Applicants.
Summary of essential job functions
- Manage applicants paperwork flow.
- Receive, review and input all company and DOT requirements and identify any potential error or risk to the company.
- Administrative support for Tenstreet application process by keeping accurate and real time notes on new hires being processed.
- Communicate consistently with applicants regarding any missing documents needed to complete the application as quickly as possible.
- Final Review- audit for all required items for Driver activation.
- Coordinate and communicate with our Agents and / or Field Recruiters during the initial setup period regarding pending items to ensure seamless transition throughout the on-boarding process.
- Identify, resolve and address specific concerns based on Agents' needs- work with management to revise processes appropriately.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow up communication to both internal and external personnel and job applicants.
