Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving staff to ensure efficient service.
- Train new servers on menu offerings, service techniques, and restaurant policies.
- Manage reservations and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to provide feedback on menu items and improve guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash register operations accurately and manage POS transactions effectively.
- Maintain positive guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any issues that arise.
- Assist in sales initiatives by upselling menu items and promoting specials.
- Conduct regular checks on dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dining environment, preferably in a leadership role.
