Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Supervisor to join one of our Miami Beach Hotel Group restaurants. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a team of servers to ensure smooth and efficient service. The Server Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of servers, ensuring they provide excellent service to guests. Train new staff, helping them understand service standards, menu knowledge, and customer service techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate server performance to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that all food and beverage orders are processed correctly and delivered to guests on time.
- Assist in creating and adjusting server schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times while optimizing labor costs. Track attendance and performance to maintain an efficient workforce.
- Ensure the dining room is clean, organized, and ready for service. Monitor server stations and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitary.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure the smooth flow of service, especially during busy periods. Relay customer feedback and menu changes to the appropriate parties.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
- Uphold food safety standards throughout the service process.
- Oversee the operation of the point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure accurate order entry, bill processing, and payments. Verify checks and cash deposits at the end of shifts.
