Retail Store Associate

Well established Liquor Store in Miami Beach looking to hire a part time Retail Associate. Associate with 1 year experience in retail preferred along with the ability to committing approximately 21-28 hours a week as a full time employee.

Enthusiasm and interest in Spirits, Beers, and Wines a major plus.

Prior experience in spirits store, gas stations, lottery transactions, a major plus.

Qualifications

• Top notch customer service skills are a must, as is the ability to learn product knowledge quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Wine and spirits experience in a retail sales environment a major plus
• Familiarity with POS, Lottery Systems, and handling of cash / credit transactions.
• Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
• Fantastic customer service skills
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time; can lift 50 lbs
• Willing to grab merchandise located on top shelves using ladders.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, process transactions, help merchandise the sales floor, and play a vital role in making our retail experience a positive one
• Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store
• Offer help and give assistance to customers
• Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, coupon deals, etc
• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges
• Report anything unusual, or any major incidents, to management
• Help organize backstock and perform inventory counts
• Process newly received shipments
• Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise store
• Maintain a clean and tidy work and retail space
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
