We're looking for a qualified Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. You'll play a vital role in supporting our team in providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform X-ray examinations on patients following physician orders.
* Ensure proper positioning of patients for clear and accurate images.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
* Document procedures and results accurately.
* Assist providers with procedures like starting IVs, drawing blood, injections, running EKG/ECGs, and running on-site labs.
* Process specimens for Labcorp, Quest, and HealthTrackRx.
* Triage patients by taking measurements and history of their vitals including but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature and respiratory rates.
* Deliver awesome customer service - making sure everyone feels welcome and cared for.
* Up for learning new things and helping out at the front desk too, including looking up insurance benefits, eligibility, copay and deductible information, and verifying all patient data is intact and correct.
Qualifications:
* State of Florida Basic X-ray Machine Operator license required.
* Experience in a fast-paced medical environment preferred.
* Ability to perform medical assistant and front desk patient care duties.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor.
