Miami Children's Museum is looking for a new Director of Corporate and Annual Giving to join their team!
Miami Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution, which meets the needs of all children in our multicultural community. The Museum offers interactive exhibits, programs and learning materials related to arts, culture and our community. Miami Children’s Museum encourages visitors of all ages to play, learn, imagine and create together.
The Director of Corporate and Annual Giving manages the daily activities of the development programs. Assists in the development of goals and strategies for all fundraising campaigns. Plans and implement marketing programs and special events to maximize prospect / donor engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Development to design, propose, and implement strategies for securing private funding.
- Nurture relationships with current and former donors, sponsors, and supporters to strengthen connections and ensure ongoing engagement.
- Craft an integrated communication plan for various audiences, utilizing channels such as direct mail, phone campaigns, email marketing, and social media platforms.
- Develop and oversee the creation of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, newsletters, annual reports, public service announcements, and event programs) while managing public relations to enhance the Miami Children’s Museum brand.
- Regularly update and maintain the content on the Miami Children’s Museum website.
- Formulate a comprehensive social media plan to boost the Museum’s brand visibility, promote programs, and engage supporters. Oversee social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms outlined in the strategic plan.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, uphold donor accountability standards, and adhere to ethical principles and standards for fundraising professionals.
- Engage in professional growth activities, such as reading industry publications, attending training sessions, and participating in relevant conferences.
