Essential Functions And Tasks
- Displays a genuine disposition for engaging students and promoting deep understanding through meaningful learning.
- Be an integral part of the learning community and viewed as an ongoing learner who is fully engaged in professional growth.

- Collaborates with lead teachers to plan and teach units that encompass hands-on exploration and inquiry process skills using the Understanding by Design Model of instruction.
- Delivers curriculum developed by the Department Chair and co-teach a class.
- Maintains an optimal disposition that embodies practice of inherent pedagogies in teaching students.
- Demonstrates growing expertise in a variety of presentation modes that accommodate different learning styles and purposefully generate opportunities for students to interact and share ideas with their peers.
- Helps set up and clean up science labs.
- Substitutes for classes periodically.
- Works with Administration to build expertise.
- Consistently demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, including accountable conversations that promotes the schools core values.
- Perform supervisory duties as assigned.

- Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, or relevant Education or Technology.
