Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in Radiation Therapy courses.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the program curriculum and industry standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and clinical competencies.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students to foster their professional growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and advancements in the field of radiation therapy.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional requirements.
- Master's degree in any field; Bachelor’s degree in any field and Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy; Valid registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field.
- All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
- Familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Ability to function well in a technological environment and willing to use technological tools in instruction
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
