Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Three years of experience in a military or security environment or with operating and/or monitoring a security console, central station, or surveillance system is required. Must be able to work rotating shifts and prepare reports.
Recruitment Notes
This position is responsible for answering and responding to calls on multiple lines, computer data entry, monitoring CCTV systems, monitoring alarm access controls, and notify and dispatch emergency personnel. Must be able to work a varied rotating 24/7 schedule shift to include early mornings, nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal is highly preferred. This position's work location will be in Doral, FL.
Seaport Security
Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Seaport Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal, state, or local requirements. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
