Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. One year of experience in the digital field is required. Additional experience in the the digital field may susbtitute for the required college education in a year for year basis.

This position serves as the day-to-day manager for the YOUmedia Miami space at Hialeah Gardens Branch Library. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for the development and delivery of workshops for media production and technology while establishing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all visitors. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for supervising assigned Library Media Project Instructors, present technology workshops, provide outreach and informational services about YOUmedia and the Library, and engage visitors with media technology. The YOUmedia Miami space at Hialeah Gardens includes a digital media learning lab with a production studio for which this position will be responsible. This position entails helping visitors, especially young adults, to develop and grow their media portfolios while connecting them with educational programs and access to careers in technology and media. This position will be required to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends on the schedule of YOUmedia and library branch operating hours and as required for outreach requests.
