Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Eight years of progressively responsible experience in developing, and/or configuring applications, and/or IT infrastructure support/maintenance, and/or radio infrastructure systems, and/or information security are required. Additional related work in developing, and/or configuring applications, and/or IT infrastructure support/maintenance, and/or radio infrastructure systems, and/or information security may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.

- Administer Miami-Dade Counties computer network infrastructure through subordinate supervisors, systems engineers, operating systems programmers, technical support analysts and other technical and administrative personnel.
- Network Management, Security Compliance and Vulnerability Management: Provides integrated service solutions and project management for a variety of departmental projects.
- Develop, improve and maintain the long-range infrastructure plans of the telecommunication and computer network programs through subordinate technical and non-technical personnel.
- Infrastructure Configuration\Deployment and Virtualization Management: Acts as liaison with other units of local government, state and federal agencies, professional and civic organizations to coordinate integrated telecommunication and computer network programs and projects.
