What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Truck Driver Operator (Solid Waste Management) position at Miami-Dade Seaport Department?
Continuous employment, permanent status and two (2) years of acceptable on-the-job performance as a Waste Attendant 1, Waste Attendant 2 or Waste Collector and successful completion of the Department's Waste Truck Driver Operator Training Program are required. Must possess a valid CDL / Class B or higher-rated license; OR, continuous employment, permanent status and one (1) year of acceptable on-the-job performance as a Trash Truck Driver and successful completion of the Department's Waste Truck Driver Operator Training Program are required. Must possess a valid CDL / Class B or higher-rated license; OR, two (2) years of experience operating medium or heavy-duty automotive equipment, such as automated or manual garbage trucks, large dump trucks, tractor-trailers, passenger buses or similar equipment are required. Must possess a valid CDL / Class B license or higher-rated license.
