🕒 Schedule: Flexible | 1–6 shoots/week depending on workload (including weekends)

📅 Commitment: 6 months

💼 Compensation: Project-based — mix of paid & unpaid shoots with perks

ABOUT MIAMI FRIENDORS

Miami Friendors is a fast-growing digital platform that showcases the best of South Florida's local businesses, markets, and events. With a loyal community of over 100K Instagram followers and longstanding partnerships across the region, we create social-first video content that celebrates simple living, community connection, and creativity.

We’re seeking 1–2 Content Capturing Interns to help us film content across South Florida and contribute to our growing visual library of local gems, markets, and cultural events.

🎥 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are:

• A college student or recent graduate studying film, media, marketing, or a related field
• Based in South Florida, with reliable transportation
• In possession of a smartphone (iPhone 15, newer Android, or similar quality)
• Friendly, professional, and confident filming around people
• Passionate about social media, storytelling, and content creation
• Experienced (or eager to learn) vertical video for TikTok/Instagram
• Comfortable being on camera occasionally (no talking required)
• Responsible, self-managed, and on time
• Able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship

✨ ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture vertical video content at local events, small businesses, and farmers markets
• Follow a provided shot list (wide shots, details, signs, people, vibe)
• Upload raw footage to Dropbox within 24 hours of the shoot
• Submit brief shoot notes via Monday.com
• Represent the Friendors brand with professionalism and warmth
• Coordinate scheduling with Media Acquisition Lead in advance (shoots assigned 2–7 days out)

💸 COMPENSATION & SHOOT TYPES

This is a project-based role with both paid and unpaid assignments. We’ll always let you know what type of shoot you’re accepting.

✅ PAID SHOOTS – $50 flat per shoot

Includes gas and time. No mileage tracking required.

Examples:

• Small businesses
• Fitness classes
• Workshops
• Musicals or ticketed events

🚫 UNPAID SHOOTS – Portfolio & Perks

You will not be paid, but perks are included.

Examples:

• Existing partner markets
• Restaurants (you a friend eat free)
• Major festivals (you a friend receive VIP tickets, food, drinks)
