Facilities & Operations Intern - Summer 2025

The Miami HEAT & Kaseya Center Facilities & Operations department is seeking an intern to join our team this summer! The position will provide valuable learning experience in building operations and engineering on day-to-day/event basis and collaborate will other departments throughout the summer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Assisting facilities staff with event preparation
• Assist with pre-event walkthroughs
• Become familiar with facility maintenance software and assist with data entry
• Assist with Sustainability projects
• Support operations and engineering staff as needed
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
