The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are looking for a Seating Technician Assistant to oversee the maintenance, operation and repair of the seating systems. The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are looking for a Seating Technician Assistant to oversee the maintenance, operation and repair of the seating systems. Other duties include general mechanical maintenance, carpentry, minor electrical and welding. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the repairs and maintenance of all bowl seating and corresponding equipment and plumbing items corresponding.
- Assists with replacing and installing seats, cushions, seat structures, cup holders, glass railings and general seating structure.
- Assists in the repairs, replacing and rebuilding of various items, such as motors, gear drives, hydraulics systems and other rotating assembly
- Follow the preventive maintenance program, energy management program and standard operating procedures for all machinery and equipment.
- Record and log all work performed, complete work order slips and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner through the building maintenance work order system.
- Operate equipment, such as, light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines, or other light power-driven equipment.
- Assist other Operation Department divisions to expedite event conversions, as needed.
- Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, loss of property and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- During off season assists co-workers in the Engineering and Operations departments with tasks that including but are not limited too; toilets, sinks, water fountains, drainage pipes, painting, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tiles, pavers, floor tiles, filters and belts as required.
