Job Title: Research Assistant
Job Summary
The Research Assistant is responsible for assisting the Clinical Research Coordinator in conducting chart reviews, maintain study-related records, subject monitoring, and miscellaneous clerical duties.
Essential Job Functions
- Serves as an assistant to the study coordinator for existing and future clinical research projects.
- Assists with the performance/scheduling of tests/procedures as specified in protocol and within scope of state licensure regulations.
- Aides in the coordination of the recruitment, screening, and enrollment of subjects to participate in the study
- Assists Research Coordinator with the maintenance of all relevant paperwork.
- Attends research meetings, educational programs and department meetings as needed.
Job Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred
- 0-2 years of research or related experience
- Medical Assistant or CNS or Certified Phlebotomist preferred
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to pay attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow research protocol and procedures.
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
