Job Title: Research Assistant

Job Summary

The Research Assistant is responsible for assisting the Clinical Research Coordinator in conducting chart reviews, maintain study-related records, subject monitoring, and miscellaneous clerical duties.

Essential Job Functions

• Serves as an assistant to the study coordinator for existing and future clinical research projects.
• Assists with the performance/scheduling of tests/procedures as specified in protocol and within scope of state licensure regulations.
• Aides in the coordination of the recruitment, screening, and enrollment of subjects to participate in the study
• Assists Research Coordinator with the maintenance of all relevant paperwork.
• Attends research meetings, educational programs and department meetings as needed.
  
  

Education

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree preferred
  
  

Experience

• 0-2 years of research or related experience
  
  

Licenses/Certifications

• Medical Assistant or CNS or Certified Phlebotomist preferred
  
  

Abilities Required

• Organizational skills
• Must be able to pay attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and follow research protocol and procedures.
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
