Surgical Coordinator – Miami Life Cosmetic Center
Miami Life Cosmetic Center is seeking an experienced and professional Surgical Coordinator to join our team. Prior experience in a plastic surgery clinic or a similar medical setting is required.
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills, excellent computer proficiency, and polished phone etiquette. The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly personality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, messages, and emails.
- Answer patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure patients complete all pre-surgical steps before their procedure, including medical evaluations.
- Review and understand medical test results (e.g., bloodwork, medical clearances, EKGs).
- Inform patients of surgeon-specific requirements and guide them through the lab process at the 30-day pre-surgery mark.
- Assist with information verification and billing processes.
- Utilize computer systems for scanning, uploading, faxing, emailing prescriptions, and maintaining patient records.
- Ensure all patients reaching the 30-day pre-op mark have completed their health questionnaires.
- Review and clear patients for surgery by confirming all lab requirements are met.
- Schedule surgeries and update the calendar accordingly.
- Provide post-surgical support by answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
- Be adaptable and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.
