Position Summary

The Marlins Mermaids are responsible for providing positive experiences and fan engagement at all Miami Marlins events and promotions. They will serve as brand ambassadors, engaging with fans during game days, special events, and community activations, while maintaining a high level of energy and professionalism.

Essential Functions

• Be available for appearances at events, schools, youth leagues, and community engagements.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Miami Marlins, representing the team at various functions.
• Distribute promotional giveaways at events, game days, and other activations.
• Engage with fans, including taking photos and leading chants or activities during games and promotions.
• Assist with the setup and activation of theme nights and special events, including pregame and postgame activities as needed.
• Participate in fan engagement activities such as t-shirt tosses, the 7th inning stretch, and working with the in-game host.
• Be available for photo shoots and other marketing content opportunities as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold uniform standards at all times.
• Take creative direction and feedback when needed.
• Provide assistance at off-site events and community activations.
• Must attend all team meetings and maintain good attendance, punctuality, and a clean driving record.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable transportation to games and appearances.
• Must be over 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during off-site events.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High positive energy, outgoing personality, and passion for the sport.
• Physically capable of performing high-energy tasks, including running and jumping.
• Must be able to attend all necessary Marlins events.
• A clean driving record is required.
