Position Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of product strategies for Baseball Systems applications and infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, coaches, scouts, and front-office personnel to ensure that our technology solutions align with the needs of Baseball Operations. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design, data-driven decision-making, and agile product development methodologies.
Essential Functions
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Baseball Systems applications and infrastructure.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from key stakeholders across Baseball Operations, including scouting, player development, and analytics.
- Work closely with software engineers and data engineers to design and deliver scalable, high-impact technology solutions.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop user stories, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate product concepts effectively.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvements.
- Conduct user research and testing to ensure products meet the needs of end users.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication between Baseball Operations, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in baseball technology and product management.

Skill Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in technology, sports analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and user experience (UX) principles.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Experience working with data-driven products and familiarity with baseball analytics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Passion for baseball and knowledge of the sport’s operations and technology landscape.
Education & Experience Guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, software development, or related fields.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technology projects.
- Previous experience in sports technology or baseball operations is a plus.
Work Environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Availability to travel occasionally for industry conferences or organizational needs.
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and work in an office environment.
