Job Title : X-Ray Technologist
Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : OR experience required, Travel experience preferred
License : Any state RN license acceptable
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ODH certification
Must-Have : Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology, Must have OR experience
Job Description :
- Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Work within the scope of practice and in accordance with certificate / licensure for the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.
- Exercise professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
- May have on-call responsibilities.
- Must work every other weekend / holiday.
- Ability to float at the organization's discretion across specialty clusters, including high-risk respiratory unit / COVID, and be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to.
- Before working in certain units, staff will be fitted for N95 masks unless PAPR is needed / offered.
- Must complete EKG / Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of contract signing, excluding specific units like Antepartum, Behavioral Health, Family Birth Center, among others.
Please note that flu vaccination is required with only medical / religious exemptions. Employment is subject to floating between main and satellite campuses within a 15-mile radius. Staff are not eligible for employee incentives. The organization maintains discretion over shift cancellations based on census needs.
