Job Summary

As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care for patients with critical and complex medical conditions. Your role will involve closely monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and cardiac telemetry
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Proficiency in IV insertion and pain management techniques
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar critical care settings
• Knowledge of trauma medicine and acute pain management
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and standards of nursing practice
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2,854.00 - $3,027.00 per week
