Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all service items are clean and ready for use.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or catering environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
