Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options, including daily specials.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, ensuring all guest requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution and satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of wine pairings and menu items to provide recommendations to guests.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and sanitation practices.
- Excellent guest service skills with an emphasis on creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with bussing tables in a fine dining environment is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
